Abstract
This document includes a transcription of the three movements of Michael-Thomas Foumai’s suite for orchestra, Kealaikahiki. An overview of the historical context of the work; including biographical information about the composer, and the history surrounding the inspiration of the work is included. A detailed explanation of the techniques used in transcribing the work for wind orchestra is also included.
